With a beautiful evening ahead of us Maria decided to make us a BBQ after a long day on the job. Our house in the background makes some great viewing over dinner.

Askeskar has been part of the Mattsson family since the 1800's when it was given as a wedding gift to a local house maid and her husband. Since that date Askeskar Island has become a member of one of Vasterviks most treasured islands. Today Askeskar is protected by Kalmar Lansratt as a Nature Reserve.
