Today saw the arrival of our boat. It may not look much but we are truly greatful that we have something to use this summer.

Askeskar has been part of the Mattsson family since the 1800's when it was given as a wedding gift to a local house maid and her husband. Since that date Askeskar Island has become a member of one of Vasterviks most treasured islands. Today Askeskar is protected by Kalmar Lansratt as a Nature Reserve.
