With a little time to ourselves before Toby and Vix arrives we took time out for ourselves and took a boat ride to Hassslo, their we hired a couple of bikes and went arround the island. A beautiful day

Askeskar has been part of the Mattsson family since the 1800's when it was given as a wedding gift to a local house maid and her husband. Since that date Askeskar Island has become a member of one of Vasterviks most treasured islands. Today Askeskar is protected by Kalmar Lansratt as a Nature Reserve.
